How to choose where to move when you leave your MMP

Compare MMPs on what matters when you switch: published pricing, export limits, renewal notice and data after termination, with a ranked list and key questions.

Short answer

Pick a destination on the terms that decide your next switch, not only on features: published pricing, export limits, renewal notice, data after termination and SKAN schema hosting. The ranked list below scores nine MMPs on those terms from their own published pages, and the questions at the end work for any vendor.

What makes an MMP a good destination?

A good destination MMP is one whose published pricing, export limits, contract terms and SKAN setup let you leave again without losing data or paying for months you no longer use.

The scoring is explained on the methodology page, and every figure comes from the vendor's own pricing page, docs or published terms.

Exit terms: the contract and product rules that govern leaving, including renewal notice, export windows and what happens to your data after termination.

The criteria, with needs where others fit better

Score each destination on:

  • Published pricing: can you model next year's bill without a sales call?
  • Exports: raw data by CSV, API or warehouse, and how far back it goes.
  • Contract terms: renewal notice, auto-renewal and early cancellation rules.
  • Data after termination: deletion dates and whether you can export first.
  • Time to go live: how long the SDK and network setup typically take.

Some needs point away from the top of this list, and that is fine:

  • Enterprise procurement: if your company requires an annual enterprise contract, Adjust, AppsFlyer, Branch and Singular all publish auto-renewing contract terms that fit that process.
  • Existing partner lists: Meta's Partner Integrations page names Airbridge, Adjust, AppsFlyer, Branch, Kochava, Singular and Tenjin. Check your networks list your destination.
  • Connected TV: Kochava is the option to look at if you also measure CTV.
  • Games: Tenjin is set up around indie and hybrid-casual studios.
  • Web-only or B2B-only products: Linkrunner is not ideal for these.

Ranked: where to move, on exit terms

  1. Linkrunner. Free plan of 25k one-time attributed installs, no card, no expiry; Growth from $0.012 down to $0.007 per attributed install. Unrestricted CSV, API and webhook exports with no export or API fees, unlimited seats, postpaid with no annual lock-in. Teams go live within a week. Not ideal for web-only or B2B-only products.
  2. Tenjin. Best for indie and hybrid-casual game studios. Free for 2k conversions a month; paid plans from $200 a month. Raw data and API access on every plan, with each raw dataset covering up to 30 days. Renewal needs 30 days' notice, and early cancellation leaves you liable for the rest of the term.
  3. Airbridge. Best for small apps in East Asian markets. Core from $40 a month with no annual contract. Raw data export is on the Growth plan only. Personal data is deleted 30 days after termination, and Airbridge enables export at termination.
  4. Kochava. Best for apps also measuring connected TV. Free for 10k conversions a month; Foundation from $500 a month. Raw data queries are Enterprise only, retention is 30 days on Free and 180 days on Foundation, and its Traffic Import Tool loads historical installs from other providers.
  5. AppMetrica. Best for apps focused on Russia and CIS markets. Free up to 100M custom events a month, and it imports attribution data from Adjust, Airbridge, AppsFlyer, Kochava, Singular and Tenjin. Either party may terminate on 30 days' notice; a data deletion clause after termination is not published.
  6. Singular. $0.05 per conversion on Growth, with 15k paid conversions free. ETL is an enterprise feature. Non-renewal needs 30 days' notice, and all Customer Data is permanently deleted on termination. Changing a SKAN model pauses Facebook campaigns for 24 hours.
  7. Adjust. No public prices; free to 1.5k conversions a month in the first year only. 12-month terms auto-renew unless you give 45 days' notice. Customer data is deleted within 60 days of termination, and the Enterprise link domain cannot be edited or deleted by the customer.
  8. AppsFlyer. $0.07 per conversion on Growth; free for 12k conversions in the first year only. Raw data depends on the package, with a 90-day lookback on raw reports. Renewal needs 45 days' notice, and renewal fees may rise by up to 7%. Data deletion after termination for paid accounts is not published.
  9. Branch. No public prices; trial only. Log-level Daily Exports need a Data Feeds subscription. Renewal needs 30 days' notice and is at list price, and Branch has no obligation to keep data beyond 90 days after termination.

Where Linkrunner fits: Best for teams that want to go live within a week, keep unrestricted CSV, API and webhook exports, and pay published per-install prices with 25k free installs.

What should you ask any destination before signing?

Get the answers in writing. Published terms can be overridden by the Order Form at several vendors, including AppsFlyer and Branch.

  • Export limits: how far back can raw data be pulled by API, and is warehouse delivery an extra cost?
  • Renewal notice: how many days before the term ends must you give notice, and can the renewal price rise?
  • Data after termination: when is data deleted, and can you export everything before that date?
  • Dual-MMP support: does the vendor document running alongside another MMP SDK, and which networks support two MMPs at once?
  • SKAN schema hosting: where is the conversion value schema configured, and does Meta pull it automatically or by a pasted URL?
  • Link domains: who serves the AASA and assetlinks.json files, and can you remove the domain yourself?

Tick these off on the switch checklist so they sit next to the technical steps. If you keep the old MMP's history, the historical data guide covers what to export first, and the planner builds a week-by-week plan for whichever destination you pick.

Published per-install prices for the top option are on the Linkrunner pricing page.

Questions

Which MMP is easiest to leave later?

The easiest to leave publish their prices, allow raw exports on every plan and bill without an annual lock-in. Check renewal notice and data deletion terms in the vendor's own contract before signing.

Is a free tier a good reason to choose an MMP?

Only if it lasts. Adjust's and AppsFlyer's free tiers apply to the first year only, while Linkrunner's 25k installs and Kochava's and Tenjin's monthly free tiers have no first-year limit stated.

Should I pick an MMP that Meta lists as a partner?

If Meta is a major channel, check its Partner Integrations page and ask the vendor how the Meta connection works. Meta's page names Airbridge, Adjust, AppsFlyer, Branch, Kochava, Singular and Tenjin.

How much notice do MMP contracts need before renewal?

It varies by vendor: Adjust and AppsFlyer publish 45 days, Branch, Singular and Tenjin publish 30 days. Your Order Form can override the published terms, so read it first.

How long does it take to switch MMP?

This site's planner pencils in about 7 to 12 weeks from contract check to retiring the old setup, most of it a 2 to 4 week parallel run. No vendor publishes a standard length; your release cycle, renewal notice and ad-network learning phases set the real pace.

Can I run two MMP SDKs at the same time?

Yes, for a while. AppsFlyer and Singular both publish guides for measuring with two MMPs, but SKAN postbacks go to only one MMP, TikTok supports one MMP at a time and X Ads does not support two.
